Bio

Ivory Nunez Medrano is an illustrator and graphic designer born in 1978 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he worked there a freelancer for non-profit organizations, advertising agencies, and individual clients from. He was among the publishers and editors of comic zine Alternativa (1998), and La Vaina (2000) arts and culture magazine.

He holds a Bachelors in Art History and Art Criticism from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, and a MFA in Visual Narrative from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He currently lives in New York City working as an educator and graphic artist, while working on diverse graphic storytelling projects.
